Biographical Note

John Croyston worked for several years as a teacher before going on to work at the ABC. From 1958 to 1964 Croyston was a radio producer with the Drama and Features Department, writing and producing many features, as well as producing drama. He co-produced The Poet's Tongue on ABC Radio National for ten years and wrote for the weekly arts programme Quality Street. His poetry was published in Australia's major literary journals including MeanjinOverlandQuadrant and Southerly.
