This collection relates to playwright Gordon Graham and contains handwritten and typescript manuscripts, notes and audio-visual material, including radio plays and stage and screen scripts
1979-1985
Gordon Graham began writing plays while he was a student at the University of Western Australia. His first professional production was Innocent Bystanders, which was performed at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs in 1975.
After living in London for two years, he returned to Australia where he has written many plays that have been performed by most of Australia's leading theatre companies. Gordon Graham has twice been a recipient of Literature Board Fellowships and has written for television, radio and worked as a motoring journalist. He is the nephew of Burton Graham.
