Space Instrument Systems Engineer

An exciting opportunity exists as the space instrument system engineering, UNSW Canberra Space in the School of Engineering and Information Technology (SEIT), UNSW Canberra. The Space Instrument Systems Engineer sought here will be embedded within the spacecraft flight team and contribute to the development of mission concepts, instrumentation and spacecraft systems for remote sensing and in situ payload applications.

About the Successful Applicant:

The Space Instrument Systems Engineer will possess personal drive to build a portfolio of world class space science and engineering within the UNSW Canberra space programme.  They will have the ability to contribute successfully to a talented and diverse team, and support high team cohesion, performance and outcomes.

They will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision to undertake project management and systems engineering related to the development and delivery of satellite payloads and missions, and while maintaining focus on the overall direction of the team, will be expected to show imagination and creativity in solving the problems at hand.
