David is founder and managing director of Bedrock Offsite, a Sydney-based company specialising in the manufacture of prefabricated modular buildings.

David has served in executive roles in private and listed companies including Lend Lease Corporation and Richard Crookes Constructions.  The latter being responsible for the construction of the new ADFA Auditorium, Sports Centre and cadet accommodation refurbishment.

He managed the operational planning and preparation for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games villages before moving to Athens to advise on the planning and preparations for the 2004 Olympic Games.

David attended ADFA in its inaugural year in 1986 and is the Academy’s first graduate.   He has a BA (Hons) from the UNSW Military Faculty, an MBA from the UNSW Australian Graduate School of Management and completed the Company Directors course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He is married with four daughters and is involved in numerous community activities.
