Currently, Hatem is a research assistant, Capability System Centre and School of Science, University of New South Wales (UNSW) Canberra, Australia.

2012-15 M.Sc in physics, Al-Azhar University.

2006-10 B.Sc. in physics (Hons), Al-Azhar University.

His research interests include the properties and structures of the materials (Rare-earth intermetallics, Glass and Nano-ceramic materials and perovskite materials), DC and AC electric conductivity, magnetic properties and magnetic structure and hyperfine interactions.
