UNSW Canberra Students & Staff
UNSW Canberra students and UNSW Canberra staff, are automatically registered as Academy Library members when they finalise enrolment or the HR on-boarding processes (for staff).
As soon as staff and students have their zPass details they can access all of the UNSW Library electronic resources (e.g. ebooks, electronic journal articles, databases, streaming videos, etc.) and their myLibrary account. Staff and students can also use their ZID and password to login to the Library computers.
To access and borrow from the onsite library, staff and students need to obtain a ADFA (Student/Staff ID) card through Information, Communication and Technology Services (ICTS). The ADFA card is necessary if staff and students want to use the printer/copiers and the 24/7 Service.
The Academy Library offers a range of other memberships (see below for more details for each category). All of these memberships will require a completed membership form and supporting documentation.
To finalise - the process requires a to visit the ICTS Centre (Building 14) at UNSW Canberra during business hours. The ICTS staff will take your photo for your ADFA card.
Note that there may be a short delay (up to 24 hours) before full borrowing privileges are available. For information on borrowing privileges for each library membership, see Borrowing Information.
