Howard Government Retrospective V, 2021

The Howard Government Retrospective V conference coincides with the 25th anniversary of the election of the Howard Government. Focusing on 'The Coalition', it encourages informed debates on the relationship between the Coalition parties and on the policies and performance of The Nationals. Contributions by principal participants, leading commentators, and notable scholars will provide insights into the Howard Government's strengths and shortcomings, and explore the subsequent dynamics of a partnership that is pivotal to Australian national politics.
