In collaboration with the Air Power Development Centre, ACSACS is pleased to announce the details of the latest Sir James Rowland Seminar.
This year's theme is Australian Aviation Culture and the enduring Air-minded approach to Air Power.
Speakers include SQNLDR Steve Campbell-Wright, WGCDR Jarrod Pendlebury, WGCDR Steve Henry, WGCDR Samantha Freebairn, AIRCDRE Stephen Edgeley, Dr Alan Stephens and GPCAPT Lyle Holt.
The program will be made available in late July.
We are pleased to announce that Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston AK, AC (Mil), AFC (Ret'd) will deliver the Keynote Presentation.
Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston was awarded the Knight of the Order of Australia in January 2015 for extraordinary and pre-eminent achievement and merit in service to Australia, through distinguished service in the Australian Defence Force, continued commitment to serve the nation in leadership roles, particularly the national responses to the MH370 and MH17 disasters, and in a variety of roles in the community.
Sir Angus retired as the Chief of the Defence Force in 2011 after a career of 41 years in the military. Sir Angus is Chancellor for the University of the Sunshine Coast and Chair of the Defence South Australia Advisory Board; the Victorian Police Corporate Advisory Group; the UNSW Canberra Advisory Council; the Canberra Symphony Orchestra and the Supashock Advanced Suspension Advisory Committee. In addition, he is patron of numerous charitable organisations.
Tickets to the 2019 Rowland Seminar are free, and the event is fully catered.
